The Pilgrimage at Mariánska hora (2012) photographic cycle does not only identify with the historically inherent function of photography, the nature of which was in the first place to document, to record the reality. Every single shutter button press is an attempt at looking for a new and deeper position of a religious identity of contemporary young and old believers whose relationship with God speaks and refers rather to the more free and individual experience of religious ceremonies and rituals. Interpretation of this sort does not lower the intensity of the relationship, but offers a bigger and extended realistic view, free of the formal pathos.
